Treble Clef Pendant
I had already created a few pieces for Breda, so when she asked me to create a really special piece, using her name and symbolising some of the most important parts of her life, I knew I had to come up with something extra special!
Initial sketches
Rough concept drawings for Breda’s bespoke name pendant.
She is a musician through and through, so music had to feature strongly on her piece, and what stronger symbol than a treble clef which also reads as the initial "B"!
Refining the design
Developing the treble clef concept that doubles as the letter “B”.
She loves the beauty of nature, so I added a pretty rose-gold butterfly. To symbolise her three wonderful children, I created three rose-gold dots. Finally, the rose-gold heart signifies all the love that she is surrounded with.
In the making
The silver pendant in progress with rose-gold butterfly and heart detailing.
It took a good bit of back and forth until we were both happy with the design. Breda was so thrilled with the finished treble clef pendant that it was all very much worth it!
