March Birthstone, Aquamarine
Aquamarine is a beautiful, light blue to blue-green gemstone that belongs to the beryl mineral family, the same family as emerald. The name "aquamarine" comes from the Latin words aqua (water) and marina (sea), reflecting its sea-like color. It is highly valued for its clarity, brilliance, and vibrant blue hues.
Aquamarine is also known as the traditional birthstone for March and is considered a symbol of clarity, calmness, and tranquility. It is thought to bring peace, calm, and clarity, making it a great stone for reducing stress and promoting emotional well-being.

Courage: It’s also associated with bravery and courage, often linked to the ancient belief that it could protect sailors during sea voyages.
Aquamarine is believed to help with emotional healing, enhance communication, and promote a sense of inner peace. It is thought to be beneficial for clearing mental blockages and is often used in meditation to help connect with higher states of awareness.
Color: Aquamarine’s color ranges from pale blue to rich blue, which is why it’s often linked to the ocean. Deeper color specimens of aquamarine gems are hard to find and command high prices.

Hardness: With a Mohs hardness of 7.5–8, aquamarine is a durable gemstone, making it ideal for jewelry worn regularly.
