Crosserlough National School, Day 5; Putting the finishing touches to our piece.
Today was our last day helping the children with our project. I brought a special friend of mine in to see them, and they loved him! You'll see him in the wee video.
I showed the children how to colour copper using ammonium sulphate and heat. They loved it, except they hated the smells! I was sorry to leave Crosserlough National school, but I did return later for a wee party!!
We also had a "show and tell" evening in Monaghan education centre, where all the different CRAFTed projects in the region, came together. A very enjoyable evening it was too and the two students that came with Siobhan and me, were very proud of their own project and all the work that they had put into it.
