Caring for your Jewellery...some quick tips!
Jewellery will always be a sentimental keepsake. With a memory to cherish and a story to be told behind each and every piece, it’s only right that something of such personal value be kept in tip-top condition, so that it will be as good as new, even in years to come!
Jewellery is made to be worn, but as a result goes through its fair share of wear and tear over time. So here are some quick tips to help you care for your jewellery at home, so that it can be passed down to the next generation and hopefully used as an heirloom for your family and loved ones.

Silver Jewellery Care
Let’s start with silver and work our way through! Silver will naturally tarnish over time. The metal is soft to allow for intricate detailing, so it's best to use a phosphate-free silver polish to clean your silver jewellery without damaging it.
Gold Jewellery Care

Gold, on the other hand, is more durable and strong. Your best bet here is to clean with a soft-bristled baby toothbrush to get into small details without scratching the surface.
Gemstone Care

Gemstones are delicate and need to be handled with care. To keep them shining, simply wipe them with a damp cloth and leave to dry naturally on a soft towel.
General Jewellery Tips
Make it a habit to check your jewellery regularly for signs of wear and tear so you can get it mended and refreshed as soon as possible. Avoid abrasive cleaners and harsh chemicals. Don’t wear your jewellery in swimming pools or while doing housework — and definitely keep it far from sinks!
