A Special 20th Wedding Anniversary Gift: The Bee and Daisy Pendant
A gold and silver Bee and Daisy necklace to celebrate 20 years of marriage! With lots of intricate detailing to this piece, I got to work in the studio creating waxes of the daisy and the bee!
The inspiration behind the Bee and Daisy pendant
I handcrafted the flower from 14ct white gold with a beaten disc of 22ct yellow gold, to mimic the vibrant centre of a daisy. The contrast between the metals added warmth and richness to the final look.

For the honey bee, each antenna and leg had to be individually crafted from 14ct gold wire, soldered in place, and then carved. Because it was so delicate, I first created a trial version in silver to test the design before working in gold.

Once all the components were ready, it was time to carefully solder everything together to bring the piece to life as one cohesive pendant.

Made from 14ct yellow and white gold, the pendant looked beautiful after a good polish. This was a very special commission for a very lucky lady!
