Crosserlough National School, Day 3 : Making a bracelet with thicker wire.

Today I brought in thicker copper wire, so that the children could make more authentic celtic bangles and torcs.

We decided that we would dress a mannequin in Celtic style dress and ornament her with hand beaten Celtic jewellery. The class decided to call her "Morrigan", after the Goddess of birth battle and death.
