Knowth K15 Kerb Stone Pendant
I've always been fascinated by Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth megalithic sites.
There's so much that we don't know about these amazing ancient mounds.
So much has been written about them, yet there is so much much still that we don't know.
The Boyne Valley has the highest concentration of Megalithic art in Europe, and is an absolute must visit area for any visitor to Ireland.
This pendant is based on the Kerb Stone K15, which some call, "The Sundial Stone".
I might create more pendant based on these beautiful ancient stones.
Credit for sketch to Martin Brennan whose research on deciphering the meanings of Megalithic stone carvings has altered thinking about Stone Age monuments and which challenged the widely-held academic view that Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth were just tombs.
