Jamie Colbourne

On the 27th August 2025, our lives changed forever.

Our beautiful son Jamie, died suddenly in Western Australia. He had just turned 26 and had been away travelling and working, in New Zealand and Western Australia, for almost 2 years. He had been due home for a visit on the 9th of September.

Our hearts are broken and I'm finding it difficult to go back to making jewellery.

I'm taking some time out to try to come to terms with all, I hope to be back in some small way, sometime in the new year.

Thanks for all the lovely messages and cards that we have received our this difficult time.

They say that the Irish are born storytellers, so it stands to reason that stories are the lifeblood of Irish jewellery designer Elena Brennan’s work.

This is evident in her designs, which strongly feature stories and legends from Irish mythology, protecting Guardian Angels, cheeky farmyard animals, and carefree memories of childhood.

Elena creates beautiful, intricate jewellery in Sterling Silver and Gold, with sparkles of Gemstones and Pearls. Three-dimensional form, flow, and swirling lines are very important to her, echoing her Celtic roots and her love of Art Nouveau.
