St. Patrick, Ireland’s patron saint, used the Shamrock to explain the mystery of the Holy Trinity to the native Irish, back in the 5th century. Its' three leaves represent Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, three deities in one.
This sterling silver shamrock comes complete with a smaller dainty silver shamrock nestled in the centre, hung on an 18" sterling silver chain.
