I included this piece in my " Misé Éire" collection as it remembers the fun and music that was always a part of Irish life.  The crossroads dance was a great social event popular where country people would gather at the large cleared space of a crossroads to céilí dance.
This heavy sterling silver pendant has a lovely image of a little girl dancing with her father, but the secret is that she is really just standing on his feet, like lots of little girls do when dancing.
The image is taken from a sculpture titled 'Dance, dance where ever you may be', in Cavan town, designed and created by Tina Quinn for the Cavan Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2010.
Both sides of the dancers are shown on the pendant, and it comes with an 18" chain.

Also available in gold.

Weight: 10 g
